1. Clean your fingernails well before starting

3. Use petroleum jelly

To prevent this, it is advisable to  rub Vaseline generously around the fingernails beforehand,  preferably with a cotton swab.

4. Use white varnish as a substrate

5. Use rubber rings to paint your fingernails

If you wrap a rubber ring around your finger, the French manicure with a colored rim will be much better and more beautiful.

9. Use the mesh of a sponge

For the quick and fun decoration of the fingernails, you can put a sponge net over the fingernails and then apply the desired nail polish.

10. Classic points on nails

Dots are always in fashion and can also be drawn on quickly and easily. That looks much funnier than single-colored fingernails.

Simply use a plaster for this, which you then stick over the primed fingernails. Then use the desired contrasting color to color in the holes in the plaster and wait until the nail polish dries.

Another option is to dip a hairpin in the nail polish and then use it to paint the dots.

11. Fast drying of the nail polish

If you don’t want the beautifully painted nails to be damaged while it is drying, you can simply fill a bowl with cold water and ice cubes.

Dip your fingernails into it for a few minutes, the cold will then help the nail polish to dry faster.

12. Do not use a blow dryer or fan

Not only can the heat cause the paint to run away,  it also causes it to lose its sheen once it dries.
